Happy Tails

Check out our Happy Endings New Beginnings

Here are our adopted pets and where they are now. These happy tails are why we do what we do and what keeps us going when times get rough.

Have you adopted a pet from Dreamland Rescue?

Let us know how they are doing and show off their picture in their new home. We love to hear from adopters. Note: If you don’t want the info put on the website that’s fine, just let us know. We would still like to hear from you.

jacque1Jacque

I stayed in Kentucky where I was adopted by a wonderful family that loved me very much. Unfortunately Jacque’s time with his new family was short. We will meet again across the Rainbow Bridge.

tigerTiger

I went to live in Virginia with my new dad who was in college there, but he has since graduated and is working on his Master’s degree in Texas where we currently reside. We are the best of friends and since my dad’s family lives in Tennessee and Kentucky we often make the long trip back and forth together. I like to travel and enjoy my job as co-pilot and constant companion. I do my best to keep my dad from being lonely so far from family and home and he returns the favor by loving me like his baby.

We have already been to Maine and Pennsylvania. I have my own little piece of doggie heaven here.

fancypicFancy

I stayed in Kentucky with my foster family who couldn’t stand to part with me. I get lots of attention and have several kitty and doggie siblings to keep me company when mom and dad aren’t home. I sleep curled around my mom’s head at night and if there is a lap in the house I with be in it in record time. If there are no laps available my next favorite place to sleep is in the laundry hamper. I’m doing well with my health problems. I may even try my paw at being a therapy cat at the local nursing home.

Sandy – I now live in Tennessee with my wonderful, loving family and a doggie brother. I am spoiled rotten, but I try to earn my keep by being a service dog to my older doggie brother who can’t see or hear well. I lead him around and keep him safe. I love him and he me. I feel it is the least I can do for my family since they gave me what every shelter dog dreams of: a home with lots of love.

guscouchGus

Snowflake (Chyenne) – I now live in New Jersey with a family that loves me. It is great here because I can walk anywhere a dog would want to go – on long walks, to the park, to the vet (I don’t think so!). (I get really carsick.) This country girl has definitely moved to the city. Oh, I also have a new name, Chyenne.

lillyhalloween1Lilly

I now live in South Carolina only 15 minutes from the beach! I have a wonderful mom and a great doggie brother. I also have some cat and bird siblings, but I’m not sure how I feel about them yet. Here I am all dressed up as Minnie Mouse for Halloween 2007. I loved going trick or treat. My mom loves to take me on long walks and we are starting obedience classes soon. My mom even said we may try our paw at agility training. Sounds like fun to me!

percyjan8aPetie (Percy)

I finally found my forever home in Kentucky and boy do I love it.  I got a name change for starters because there was already a Petie in the house, so it’s now Percy.  I have a doggy sister and several kitty siblings to play with as you can see.  My mom loves to jog and I am now her new running partner.  I absolutely love it!!  It’s a wonderful life!

radardogshowRadar

I now live in Kentucky with a family that loves me just the way I am.  They even put up with all of my goofy behavior and my desire to stay a puppy when it comes to chewing on things.  I also have a doggy brother, Benji who I love to play with.  Our favorite games are tag and hide and go seek.  It’s a great life here and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!!

zeke11Zeke

I stayed in Kentucky and now have a wonderful new home.  I have a little boy to play with and and a big park to play in right next to my home.  I love to sit out on our porch and look out over the park. Yep, I’m a happy dog.

ebbiehome1aEbbie

I stayed in Kentucky and now have a wonderful home.  I am the queen of the castle here and instantly fell in love with my new family.  They are spoiling me rotten and I love every minute of it!!  Looking out the window has quickly become one of my favorite activities.
