Sponsoring a Pet
Have you fallen in love with one of our adoptable pets, but just can’t bring him/her home? We have a solution.
Sponsor the pet. By sponsoring an adoptable pet you will make it easier for us to cover the huge costs of caring for these animals. Our adoption fees only cover the vaccines and spay/neuter of an animal and sometimes they don’t even cover that. Most of the animals we take in require additional care and medications that range from simple deworming to major things like heartworm treatment and major surgery. These costs can quickly rise and put a strain on the rescue. We never want to turn an animal away because it will be too expensive to care for.
You can sponsor an animal for as little as $10. When you choose to sponsor a pet you will be sent a picture of the animal and its story. Sponsorship can be a one time donation or it can be made monthly.
Here is how your donation can help:
$10 can provide flea preventative for a month for a cat
$15 can provide flea and heartworm preventative for a month for a dog
$25 can pay for a Felv/FIV test for one cat
$30 can vaccinate one dog or cat
$50-$80 can spay/neuter one dog(varies by size) or cat
$100 can vaccinate, heartworm test, and spay/neuter one dog
$105 can vaccinate, Felv/FIV test, and spay/neuter one cat
Any amount large or small is welcomed and can be combined with other donations to cover costs. Often the animals that we take in stay with us for several months before finding their forever home so there is also the cost of food, treats, cedar chips, tarps (for kennels), cat litter, toys, collars, leashes and monthly doses of heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.
